What should i use instead of using a liquid foundation(i have oily/combo skin)?

my skin:

oily/ combo, flakey and tight on my cheeks but then i use a moisturizer (sometimes it doesnt help).

i get whiteheads %26amp; i have scars.

i use cliniques superfit makeup (i got recommended to use it), covergirls professional loose powder.

im wondering what can work good with my skin.. like i heard the foundation that dries into a powder... if u heard any good products %26amp; brands for it please tell me.

What should i use instead of using a liquid foundation(i have oily/combo skin)?
Maybelline PureStay Powder Foundation

It's cheaper than Clinique and I love it!
Reply:Any brand of mineral makeup would be perfect for you. Try Bare Minerals. But if you have a reaction to that (it's possible) try Raw Minerals or EveryDay Minerals.

google them and check em out!

Reply:I use Clinique tinted moisturizer. LOVE IT!
Reply:Cover Girl True Blend or Cover Girl Liquid Powder. Both Super Awesome for oily skin!!!
Reply:what you should do is use a good moisturizer at night (i like Cetaphil) and then in the mornings use a combination moisturizer like clean and clear. after it has absorbed into your skin use Bare Minerals loose powder foundation. It is all natural so it wont cause anymore breakouts and it looks great on your skin. it tends to be a little expensive ($25 for the XL) but it lasts a long time and it really works fantastic. I also have combination skin and acne/scars and i have been using it for about 10 years. I wont use anything else! good luck!
Reply:I think you should use Maybelline dream matte mousse---nothing else feels quite like it!

Application Tip

Focus on perfecting the tone and coverage down the center of your face first. Use just a small amount of makeup and blend it in thoroughly. You can then layer more if necessary to achieve the coverage you want.

The price of this foundation is quite cheap and you can buy it on http://www.boots.com/
Reply:first of all, make sure you are using quality skin care made specifically for oily skin. cleanser to remove dirt and makeup, toner to remove cleanser residue and refine pores, and moisture lotion to restore water (not oil) to the skin. also use a mask or exfoliant once a week.

look for a foundation and/or powder that is oil-free, noncomedogenic, and nonacnegenic. here are a few that have worked on my oily skin even during the hot florida summers...

mark powder buff natural skin foundation $8 (powder)

avon perfect wear extralasting foundation $10 (creamy liquid)

revlon colorstay oily skin foundation $12 (liquid)

merle norman lasting liquid foundation $26 (liquid)

next, when you get oily and shiny during the day, use blotting papers to remove oil before applying more powder. clean %26amp; clear $5 from, walmart/walgreens.
