I have sever skin itching every day. Usually it happens when I remove close that have been tight on the skin (a.k.a. underwear, bra, pants). I seem to do better when the close are not tight like PJ's or any loose fitting items. The problem really presents itself after I shave. Be is summer or winter after I shave it will literally drive me mad. I have made myself bleed from scratching. I have tried moisturizing lotions (my skin in not dry), and I switched to "no dye" detergent, but nothing seems to help. I have had this problem most of my adult life. Does anyone know what this is or what can be done to stop or prevent it?
Skin irritation? Sever Itching.?
you probably have a skin fungal infection called Tinea versicolor. You can read about it on the internet to know more about it. it usually gets worse in the summer. It is usually resistent and can be hard to treat. but I give some advice. Try to wear only cotton underwear. try to have a shower every day. This fungus goes deep to the hair follicles and after swaeting comes back again and can cause itching. The best way to get read of it is trying to have laser or IPL permamnent hair removal ( for underarm, pubic area and thigh and upper back) to help better treatment. If you do not get rid of the hair for ever the fungus kees coming back for many many years. Then try this remedy. This fugus is sensitive to sulfur. you can go and get some sulfur powder from the pharmacy. also get some antifungal creams. anything will help such as ketokonazole, clotromazole, miconazole.....) then add some sulfur powder in a plate and then add the ointment and mix sufur and antifungal cream together with your finger. then apply this ointment on the itchy skin at night after a shower and before going to sleep. let it try then wear an old T-shirt as the sulfur can make all your sheets messy. it smells. then have a shower in the morning. do this for 10 days. and every often. you can also try Witch Hazel on your skin during the day to keep it dry. this fugus feeds on the oil secreted from the sebacious glands so using Witch Hazel you can keep the skin pores closed and less oily to prevent the growth of the fugus. but as I said you have to get rid of all the hair. so try to find a laser clinic and have permanent hair removal.
Reply:u seem to be suffering from CONTACT DERMATITIS!!!
meet a DERMATOLOGIST for a PERMANENT CURE
all the best
Reply:Go to a dermatologist and make sure it's not something under your skin like scabies. If you're clear, get a barrage of allergy tests.
Oatmeal baths and lotions are known to reduce itching. Finally, stop shaving and see if waxing or depilatories feel any better.
