Please i beg of you help me, i am 13, i think i have got my skin tag badly infected, im really worried?

I have a skin tag under my arm, and i am going to florida in 3-4 weeks and i wanted it gone, so i tied some string around it and let me tell you, it wasnt easy, anyway, so i dont think i tied it tight enough to cut the blood supply off, but i kept messing with it, pulling it and stuff, and now where i have been pulling it, the top layer of the skin tag has been pulle doff, revealing a red thing, anyways its kinda scary and im worried, because it hurts a little bit, when i touch it, and theres no way for me to get the string off without removing the skin tag, and i cant go to my mum because she would call me stupid and have a go at me, then she would take me to teh doctors and stuff. And i am jsut wondering, please has this happened to anybody before, and if it has then pleas tell me what you did because my holiday is coming up, and i need it gone before then?

Go get seen by a professional health care person. Dont mess around with infections they dont clear up alone and not something to be guessing about either.
