Skin Question? PLEEZ ANSWER! 10 POINTS!?
wow thats harsh. try a moisturizing cream, or a moisturizing face mask that you can leave on overnight or at least for a while. also - put moisturinzing/sensitive skin face lotion on your face, don't rub it in all the way, so you can see a little white, almost like a mask, then put a hot/warm, damp towel ontop of your face with the lotion on it for 20 minutes. when you take it off, rub in the rest of the lotion. your skin may feel oily, but trust me, leave it on. then, after about an hour, wash your face with cetaphil, or some other cleanser that will NOT DRY OUT YOUR SKIN. (key words)

hope i helped!!! :D

Reply:USE COCOA BUTTER... IT TONES UR SKIN,
Reply:The cause of this is because you treated your skin to harshly. By putting on extra acne medication you dried out your skin further than you should have. True, the ice will diminish the redness of the bump (zit) but you should not rub, just press gently on the face.

To fix this problem temperaroly (can't spell?!) drink a lot of water, put on some lotion and retry the ice without rubbing, but just pressing it on the problem areas.

I have had the EXACT same problem. Unfortunately for both you and me, this takes time to fix. Oh well, the good thing is it CAN be fixed.

Thanks,

Reply:Try using just a gentle face wash and then putting moisterizing skin repair lotion on. That's what worked for me. Hang in there hun. You'll make it through.
Reply:You should go to your local pharmacy and ask them about any over the counter products that can help with dry skin. You can also try looking for a refining face lotion. It helps moisturize your skin. I would look for well known brands. Something that you know is worth your money. Other than that...I wouldn't wear makeup. It will only clog your pores and make it worse. And discontinue using that zit cream. The ingredient that they use to make the zits go away just dries your skin up really bad. Which is probably the result you got. Hope that helped. Good luck!
Reply:I once went to a derm. for acne. They prescribed all this stuff that made my skin burn soooo bad. I couldn't even touch it and my skin was peeling all over.

Alot of their products aim to burn the skin off to give your face a nice clean complexion with no dark spots or scars. These products are really harsh. If you want to keep going with the medicine i would suggest applying the harsh topical products every other day and let your skin get used to the harsh chemicals.

If it still sucks. Go back to the doc and tell him you cant take it. Sometimes they will prescribe a not so harsh topical cream.

I dont know your specific case but i used Proactiv and it worked well. Caution..it does not work for everybody.

As for your current problem..dont wear makeup over it, that might further irritate your skin, especially b/c you have pale, sensitive skin.

Your just going to have to rough it out. Give it a couple days and it will feel better. LAY OFF THE TOPICAL CREAM UNTIL IT GOES AWAY, or your going to be red for awhile.
Reply:Try baking soda paste on your zits. That's supposed to dry them up quickly. Don't be so rough with your skin! Also I don't know how old you are, but when you go to your doctor, there is a type of birth control pill that will help with acne. For the most part, if you use a facial cleaner, and a light moisturizer, your skin should very nice. If you do get one, DO NOT freak out and mess up your face! They only last a couple days.
Reply:you could try like something from Clean N Clear or like Proactive they both work really good!!!
Reply:I think dat dat is a teenage phase, I mean I've got a few spots n I'm a boy LOL

Well, I think u hav 2 take moisturisers n special things everyday n dey will go down after a while, don't worry. Spots is natural for teenagers
