I recently over did cleansing with Clinique clarifying lotion, it was too strong and burnt my skin. it is mega tight, flaky and dry now. I am waiting for it to heal and using moisturiser, but my skin is using oily as it is. I am worried this will cause more spots. Any ideas?
If you overdry skin will it cause more spots?
use a an oil control moisturiser. dermalogica do a great one. drink plenty of water too.
Reply:Yes, because your skin produces excess oil to kind of make up for the dry skin. It's best to keep it balanced with gentle cleansers and moisturizer.
Reply:Try some E45 cream.
It is extra moisturizing for very dry skin plus it has a neutral ph so it won't mess with your ph.
Its quite thick but your skin will only absorb what it needs. Only reapply when you feel you need more.
