My foreskin has white dead skin on it?

Masterbated as a teen and had a tight foreskin. Sometimes it would tear and split but i didn't get it seen to. Now at 27 it still has this dead skin layer where the abraisions were, like its to damp there to every heal and dry out properly? Tried the antifungal creams etc but i no longer have the problem, just the legacy! I've tried gently scraping it off with a blade edge or my finger nail and its good for a while but the white tissue returns after a few days... Even considering getting circumsized as its ugly and looks unclean. My foreskin is slightly tight when erect but i can still pull in back and forth over my head with or without lube. Just feel like a nude beach holiday is needed to dry it out and let it heal??? Thanks for any comments!

You don't need a circumcision. Your foreskin is still a little tight and if you think that might be a problem you can try stretching exercises. To do this you take two fingers and stretch the opening of the foreskin as far as it'll go without pain (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side of the foreskin opening. It's a bit hard to describe, but do this for a few minutes each and in a few weeks to a month you should have no tightness, or at least a lot less.





The dead white skin thing can happen anywhere on the body. The first thing to do is to make sure you wash the area thoroughly during a shower but pulling back your foreskin and washing all around the area with water and mild soap, like any other part of the body. That should remove most of the dead skin. Dry the area thoroughly afterwards if you want. If it looks dry put some lotion on it, that might help. Neosporin or something like that might be a good idea also.





Scrapping it off with like a blade edge or your fingernail is actually a bad idea because you make it worse and it'll never clear itself. The dead skin is to protect what's healing under it, so if you take it off "prematurely" then it'll just keep coming back. It's kind of like picking off a scab over and over again. If you leave it alone for long enough, probably a few weeks at most, it should gradually shrink and disappear. If it's still there, you may want to see a doctor about it, probably a dermatologist.

Reply:this is NOT smegma. I had the exact same thing happen in a few spots where I slightly cut %26amp; abraded my foreskin. the white coloration of the skin never disappeared. It's not harmful, just unsightly. This can happen anywhere on the body, in fact. This will not affect your functioning - it is not dangerous. Just peculiar looking. You can learn to ignore this.
