Dry or combination skin?

Hi-

I am a teenager with thin, dry skin. After I wash it, it feels tight, and after I put a moisturizer on, it burns (I can feel its penetration), yet feels so wonderful. I assume I have dry skin, but the skin around my nose is slightly bumpy (maybe it is eczema?), my pores are big, and there are tiny blackheads, even though my nose is not oily. I have never had acne in my life. If I wash my nose, but do not moisturize, my nose feels tight and itchy; my forehead and chin are clear and dry. Which skin type do you think I have?

Can you recommend any skincare products for me?

Oh, and on my upper arms and buttocks, I have what you would call "chicken skin," or (scientifically known as) Keratosis Pilaris. They are like goosebumps. My whole body is extremely dry, and in the winter, I suffer from eczema on my hands and wrists. I also have dry (frizzy), curly hair.

Dry or combination skin?
Dry skin. Before you dry your face rinse with cold water this should close your pores some. Actually it's best not to dry your face but moisturize while it is still damp, I like Abolene lotion for cleansing %26amp; making my skin feel smooth %26amp; soft.

Cetaphil cream for dry sensitive skin also gives good results as does Kiss My Face products. I also like cocoa butter cream as long as it smells decent, the brand doesn't matter.
Reply:It looks likes you have sensitive skin and dry as well.

I have the same problem except that i have an oily combination.

I always use essential oils. They help extremely well.
Reply:I was the same way until a naturpath told me,

"You need more vitamin A." Try to eat lots of orange and yellow vegetables, or take a vitamin A supplement.

Try it for a couple of weeks and see if it helps.

Reply:After washing your face, use a neutralizer to adjust your PH. Apply a good moisturizer after it dries. Also, to smooth out your skin, use a loofa and soap it up. Rub hard and do this every day. Your skin will gradually smooth out.
Reply:there are lots of factors that can rob moisture out of your skin like humidity, dry air and too much exposure to cold and hot weather. you can combat dry skin using an all natural skin care product to keep the skin moist all dry.

good nutrition and proper diet as well as healthy habits can keep the skin young looking and healthy. compliment with enough rest and sleep as well as, exercise and relaxation.

avoid smoking and alcohol for these can not only cause dry skin but skin aging as well. visit http://www.skinsosilky.com for more tips about good skin care.
