my face has a few flaky spots after i get pimples, i also have pimple scarring. When I wash my face it gets a bit tight and its not oily. but by 12 in the afternoon it gets oily, and especially with all the makeup i wear. so wut do u recommend?
this is what i use:
face wash- cetaphil for oily skin
moisturizer: oil of olay ..ONLY sometimes
Makeup:
concealer- covergirls fresh complexion (but when i use it, it looks really cakey, b/c i use it to cover scars and pimples)
liq. foundation- CG's oil free makeup
powder- CG's clean pressed powder(i only use it sometimes cuz of the concealer)
What is my skin type and what toner %26amp; makeup should i buy?
The face cleanser and all.....go with what Annie L said.
Makeup:
concealer-Hide It corrective concealer from LAminerals
foundation: Hollywood Face Base from LAminerals.
I use em both and have some acne, but honestly just break out once a month now! My skin has cleared up a lot since I stopped using liquids or cream to powders, or anything with talc in it.
Talc clogs your pores bad. I wore bare minerals for a while, then arbonne, then some from the store, but they all made my face itch. The ingredient bismuth oxychloride was in all of them. That's why I switched to LAminerals.
Their greenish concealer works great at neutralizing the red blemishes. The yellowish one hides scars good, dark spots, and I use it under my eyes and beside my eyes/nose area to brighten it. Then I brush on my mineral foundation and ....whalla....skin that is one color!
Reply:i recommend you use bare minerals i have acne and it covers it really well..and it doesnt look cakey so datz g0od
Reply:For a cleanser try using Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Controlling Cleanser. It helps control the oil on the face but is non-comedogenic(won't clog pores).
Toner: Neutrogena Alcohol free toner it tightens the face but won't dry it out
Moisturizer-Neutrogena Oil-free Moisturizer will help combat oil but also help hydrate the skin.
Makeup: Bare Escentuals it is so light and does not go on cakey. The coverage can be natural or build up to have more coverage. A great substitute for it is Neutrogena Mineral Powder.
