I have severely dry skin with eczema. What can i use to cure it?
You may need to work from the inside out. Start consuming a lot of healthy fats, like butter, virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, cod liver oil, flaxseed (mixed in cottage cheese and/or plain yoghurt) etc.

Your body will get much more out of internal fat intake than anything else. So long as you are avoiding unhealthy things like sugar, gluten in grains etc. Possibly even milk, as that can be a prime allergy problem and some even get eczema from that.

Someone here suggested using coconut oil on the skin (real coconut oil) and that is a really good suggestion.

You may need to treat a possible case of yeast overgrowth in your body, as it can cause eczma. Look it up online and see if you have other symptoms too.

Definitely get into consuming healthy oils/fats, they are absolutely vital for the skin, for rebuilding tissue and for encouraging helathy bile flow. They help you heal. Low fat or no fat, is one of the most foolish modern fads of all time. The only fat you should avoid is the hardened vegetable fats and trans fats. We need fat, so much of our body, brain is made up of it and it is highly necessary, so long as it's the right kind. Saturated animal fats are fine, they are NOT bad as we have been lead to believe. They nourished people for centuries!

Reply:my brother had that and he took alfalfa tablets. it worked great.
Reply:I read on a website about pure coconut oil. I use it on my hands and face and it works really well. Drink 6-8 glasses of water to rehydrate the skin from the inside. To get rid of any infection take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day or if dieting, before a meal. Heinz apple cider vinegar has 93 vitamins and minerals to help the body fight off any attack. I believe dry skin can be cured with a little effort. The coconut oil does not stain clothing or skin and it is very inexpensive. I get mine from the grocers in the black hair care section.
Reply:I've had eczema on and off my entire life. I would highly reccomend if you havent already going to your local GP and getting a referral for a dermatologist. I've tried many creams and ointments but I found "Robertson's: Medicated Skin Reparing Ointment" to be the best for my skin. You can get it at your local Pharmacy. It makes your skin a little red on the first few applications but does ease the overall appearance of eczema and takes away the irration. The brand EGO have some good creams. Palmers Body Butter will keep your skin soft, but I would reccomend that you dealt with your eczema first and until you have found something to tackle it, DO NOT put any glowing/softening lotions on your skin.
Reply:I am a licensed esthetician and i have several clients whom i treat for eczema. I use a cosmeceutical skin care line. it is called control corrective. 2 of the most important products i use are hydra calm treatment oil and herbal nourishing calming balm. Those products may be purchased by consumers through a licensed professional. You need to see an esthetician or dermatologist to set up a proper skin care regimen.
Reply:Go to your local chemist and ask there, they may be able to give you cream or something like that, I would recommend sudo crem just every night, but go to the chemist and they could have a look and hopefully sort it for you.x
Reply:I suggest you try using Zenmend Sensitive Skin System from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.

Zenmend has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the

skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum

results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further

outbreaks.

Another product that I think is effective is Autopalm. This

dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now.

(Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

Reply:It sounds like you just have extremely sensitive skin and no lotion will help, because they only temporarily make the skin look better and don't actually heal it. I would suggest trying something all-natural that is actually going to treat your skin. I make a Whipped Shea Body Butter made with West African Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil, all of which heal and repair damaged skin. If you're interested in more info, let me know!
