Face scrub for dry skin?

I live in the UK and I'm looking for a face scrub thats gentle but good enough to really scrub away the dead skin cells on my face. Something that I can use 3 times a week.

My skin type is dry and tight if I don't use the correct products. I'm not really looking for one of those 'normal to dry' face scrubs either as they usually leave me with dry skin anyway.

Not fussed whether it costs £5 or £20.

Face scrub for dry skin?
You live in the UK and you should be able to get Lush's product, not sure how much they are there, but wont be pricey. I highly recommend Angels On Bare Face from Lush for you if you have dry skin, it's really wonderful. Information and review are at: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio...
Reply:you really have to watch what you buy in the stores, alot of the scrubs they sell are bad for your skin, for instance apricot scrub by st Ives. if you look at it under a microscope, they look like razors and they scratch your skin all up. In my skin care class, we were taught to use cornmeal mixed with aloe vera gel. Otherwise, spend the extra money and buy dermologica.
Reply:Your favorite facial cleanser and some sugar. Gently rub away the dead skin for a beautiful glow.

I love this! It works wonders.
Reply:I'm not sure if you have this product out there, but I have trouble with my skin as well. I found Noxema Original in the big blue tub to work wonders. It doesn't dry out my skin or make it oily. It even keeps my skin clear. Also, I use a clay based face mask in the shower about once a week. I leave it on while I wash my body/shave my legs then rinse off. By doing it this way, it doesn't irritate my skin. A peel-off face mask is also good for exfoliating, only use once a week though to keep from over-drying. Over washing can cause your skin to dry out more, causing breakouts.
Reply:You can try Dove jentle exfoliating face cleanser, and after put on some moisturizer, and drink plenty of water to hydrate ur skin.
Reply:Use face wash mixed with baking soda (don't use too much baking soda). Don't rub too hard %26amp; make sure you moisturize well afterwards. In fact, moisturize while your face is still wet. This should help to seal in water to keep your skin supple.
Reply:The NutriMin C RE9 Reveal Facial Scrub is absolutely the best facial scrub that I have ever used and I have tried everything. This scrub will leave your skin feeling incredible and the ingredients are all botanically based. Using walnut shell powder, chamomile, aloe, goldenseal extracts, and the re9 anti-aging elements. I would really love to send you a 3-4 day sample of this skin care line along with a sample of the facial scrub and masque with NO obligation. You can go to my website at www.thewayback.myarbonne.com and you can email me from there.

Reply:Okay what it seems here is that St. Ives would do a lot of help. What is St. Ives?:

*St. Ives is the #1 scrub, (here in United States) and it deep cleanses your pores and removes dull and dead skin cells to reveal smoother skin.

*It is Dermatologist tested, meaning, it had to get through the pros to get to you.

*It is non-drying which would be good in your situation.

*It is made from natural Swiss water and botanicals.

*And it is enriched with Vitamin A.

....Now, about the omg-you-are-going-to-get-like-razor-cuts... "issue". No need to worry because there is a St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Sensitive Skin.

Hope this 'clears up' a lot of things. :D
Reply:Try Clean %26amp; clear morning burst! Its great and works!
Reply:use a mixture of glycerine, lemon juice and rose water on ur face and apply it for 5 mins. and then rinse
Reply:If you have sensitive skin, you should only exfoliate once a week. You should try Dermalogica's Daily Face Exfoliator. Its made out of rice, so its very gentle.
