How much difference will drinking water make in my skin?

I almost never drink water, I drink iced tea and stuff but not plain water. I have a lot of pimples and my skin often feels tight and dry, and it's always bumpy and splotchy. Also, my lips are always dry and the skin on my legs is purple and splotchy. Will drinking 8 cups of water a day make a large visible difference, or does it just generally make you more healthy?

How much difference will drinking water make in my skin?
Water nourishes the skin the same way it does a plant. When a plant is dry and thirsty, it soaks up the water immediately, and you can see an almopst instand, "pick me up". When skin is dry and thirsty, water hydrates it and helps it not to feel so dry. There is water in iced tea and fruit, but there is also a high amount of sugar. Your skin will definitely benefit from a greater water intake-after a few days, although it might not be pimple free, the dryness and tightness you experience will be mostly alleviated, and you might feel more energetic. The water is helping to flush toxins from your body and main organs, and the skin the the body's largest organ! So it benefits the most.

Usually, your skin reflects what is going on the body. Pure water can add hyrdration and clarity to your skin. Also, a water based gel moisturizer can help retain moisture and not clog your pores.
