Avon's - Skin so Soft, not only will it soften your skin, it is also great as a bug repellent without the smell. My Aunt use to sell Avon
Reply:this is just b/c of extra dry skin...it might be due to colder and dryer weather
apply thicker moisturizers (still be sure they are noncomodegenic [not pore-clogging]) and add a drop or two of tea tree oil to it to still help prevent breakouts
lightly exfoliate to ward off flakes from extra dry skin
drink plenty of water and take vitamin e and fish oil supplements and just wait it out and it will fix itself in no time!
good luck!
Reply:apply moisturiser (lotion) to the bad spots
and change soap to a non-dehydrating one
Reply:You said it yourself, your skin is really dry.
When you take your shower, don't use very hot water. It dries the skin. Also, use nonsoap, moisturizing body washes, like Dove or Olay. When you get out of the shower, use a lotion for dry skin when your skin is still damp to lock in the moisture. Make sure to moisturize your face as well. Moisturize your hands after you wash them, since they are washed frequently and you take away moisture then as well.
Creams with urea are proven to be very effective for very dry skin. You can get them at pharmacies.
Before taking a shower, you can use olive oil. Just rub it on your skin and let it sit for a few minutes, then shower. Or take warm baths with bath oils.
Reply:I hear that lotion with shea cream is really good. Try putting on moisturizer (face) and lotion right after showering. Also this helps exfoliate ---%26gt; https://www.jordanessentials.com/viewpro...
I use this a lot because I'm a paramedic and have to CONSTANTLY wash my hands, which dries them out %26amp; I feel like my hands are going to fall apart! (I know the lady who sells it). I keep moisturizer in my car because sometimes I feel like my face is going to crack off. Yes, it is worse in winter!!!!
Reply:Avoid using chemicals on your body and just get a filter for your shower head. This will filter out the chemicals that are in the water that are drying your skin.
Reply:Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/
Reply:I recommend this really great moisturizer to you -- it's called Dermagenics. It's perfect for your young, sensitive skin -- this is because it doesn't have the harmful ingredients found in most skin products. It doesn't have glycolic acid or alpha hydroxys -- which has been found by the FDA to make your skin more prone to sun damage. It doesn't have any of the toxic substances and has healthy vitamins.
Read more nad get more info at http://www.dermagenics.biz. You'll be glad you tried it, I have been using it for months and my skin feels great.
