Do the various colours of the skin make any difference to couples in tight embrace???

In total darkness? Or is it just pure ignorance?


Does the average, educated person know that there are brown, yellow, cream, ochre,grey, reddish-brown and maybe even hundreds of beautiful shades in-between, but only one colour of everyone's blood---red. Let's be serious and not see humanity through blinkers.....





Your kind and clear thoughts on these? Personal experiences appreciated.

I was eighteen and so was this very nice looking young lady who happened to be black. We had known each other all summer because we had the same summer job. We both had the same goofy sense of humor and laughed at the same stupid jokes which always helps move the relationship along. I lived alone in an apartment in a town I didn't grow up in and she had intriduced me to alot of great people and so one night she just sort of showed up at my place and I invited her in of course and we talked and listened to music and before you know it we were locked in love, so to speak. Afterwards, we layed there and talked about things and the subject naturally came around to race. I had never been with a black girl and she had never been with a white guy but we both agreed that there was no difference other than maybe the individual difference from one person over another. You know, like maybe technique or expierence. The kissing was more or less the same and you can't tell the difference just by touching skin. I came away with the notion that race is bull**** and the difference is what we make of it.
Reply:absolutelly no difference. i am white marrie to a black guy and color is nothing more then color. it does affect our IQ, our sence of humor or what we value and love. its just color.
Reply:Very true indeed. The world is not just black and white, or brown and yellow for that matter; and so many people feel to realize it.





We have peach, caramel, mocha, chocolate, tan, cocoa, olive, vanilla, so many beautiful colors of skin. Only stupid people don't see past that.

Unfortunately there are people out there of all races and creeds , yes religion is also a factor here ( two green and orange spotted people may not consider each other as a viable patrner because they have a slightly different take on the word of whatever God they choose to believe in), who favour some kind of racial purity. This of course completely ignores the history of humans and our inevitable future. We all started the same colour and eventually we will all end up the same colour. Then we''ll find something else to fight about.


For me the answer is simple, "Vive la difference'.
Reply:Colour is just colour not the person it is what is on the inside that counts. i am a white british woman married to a black nigerian man and colour just isnt an issue it is him i love not his colour. My father is married to an indonesian and again colour not an issue. unfortunately there are people out there who judge people on the colour of their skin but this is so blinkered. i have met some pretty awful people of all colours and at the end of the day you should just judge the individual not their race or religion.
