I pulled my finger out of my wife's tight ring too quickly and have pulled some skin off, any suggestions?

Hi there, as you may have read in my previous question I have rather mysteriously lost some weight off my ring finger through exercise, in order to demonstrate how much i've lost I asked the wife for her ring and proceeded to get it stuck! The cheeky so and so started laughing at me saying how much I suited it which got a bit riled up to say the least, anyway I decided that a bit of brute force was in order but I've only gone and tore my skin which has gathered at the end of my finger, it looks a bit like a half peeled banana! Do you think should I go to hospital or just pull the skin back and bung a plaster on it?

I pulled my finger out of my wife's tight ring too quickly and have pulled some skin off, any suggestions?
Ah poor little bunnikins take it ANDANTE ANDANTE and you won`t get hurt A witch doctor may help try ringing whitehall 1212 they will sort you out In future keep your hands to yourself. xxx
Reply:OooOOoh could be risky if her ring was rusty.

oh matron.
Reply:slap the plaster on. put some savlon on first though
Reply:Put a Marigold on the offending hand, hold it over the gas ring, when its at melty stage squish it really hard onto the finger. Run under cold water (to set) and then peel off the rest of the glove. Then paint it with flesh coloured paint (available from woolworths in kids paint sets) and Voila - good as new.
Reply:I would stick it back on. Youd be surprised. I cut a big chunk off my finger and stuck it back on, at first it started to look dead and all shrivelled then it just stuck and healed.

The body is an amazing thing.

I would put some TCP or Savlon on it tho.

Depends how bad the skin is peeled off as well. Obviously if the bone is showing or summit go hospital!
Reply:ouch you might need to put a bandage on it to keep the dirt off put a bit of lint on first to stop the bandage sticking to it you might need to go to the hospital if it gets infected
Reply:ok i must have a dodgy mind because it made me laugh, i wasnt thinking wedding rings haha
Reply:you are the man to have around in a real crisis!
Reply:k this is probably going to fizzle and mabey tingle @ the most but if you dont wanna go to the hospital then just pour a little poroxide on the finger and add some neosporin to the area thats affected but if you have to think abt weather or not to go to the ER then you probably should just go just to be safe...you dont want anything to infected especailly if its an open wound they will probably do the same thing and bandage you up and give you some ointment to add to the skin but i hope it gets better do the rite thing buddy...hope this helped !

Good Luck and Get well soon !
Reply:I am really sorry but my dirty mind just couldn't see passed your initial question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
Reply:hosptitals have a way of removing rings without damaging them .... but otherwsie they use a cutter.

wash the area with antiseptic and dress it.

in fact , by the time you read this , it may be already healing.
Reply:Pull the skin back ever so gently and get yourself to hospital. If its what I am picturing then it will be a job for plastics.

Basically if its red and inflamed and is extra sensitive to the touch then go.
Reply:Are you a man or a mouse?

why a womans ring?
