I was only washing up the dishes, have not fallen or knocked my hand or anything.There is some pain, not too much.It looks like it is bruised where it is swollen.

Had something similar to this in the acute care that I work in. The doc said most likely it was a burst blood vessel, no big deal. Take Ibuprofen, to take down inflammation, and apply ice 20 min. on, 20 min. off until swelling subsides. If anything changes majorly or suddenly gets very painful, then I would go to the ER.
