If you have extra skin, can you just cut it off??

My friend has extra skin on her ear and her mom is always telling her to tie a string around it and make it tighter everyday and it will come of, which sounds kinda silly, but will that work?? I'm a virgin and I have extra skin "down there" can I just do that? Cause I don't want a guy to think I'm nasty or something.......

WHAT????? Don't go cutting things off! This should be done by a physician IF necessary, You probably don't have "extra" skin down there. It is probably normal. Trust me, everyone's stuff looks different.





Honestly, you can easily get an infection if you do this and even trying to get rid of a little piece of skin on your ear that way can give you and infection that can kill you.

Reply:I would not recommend doing that at all. You may cause irreversible damage. If you are truly concerned go see a gyno. There are many safe procedures to remove excess skin that a Dr can preform.
Reply:Not a good idea to take care of it yourself. You have a lot of blood vessels and other stuff in your skin and not only to you risk permanent harm to your body(especially 'down there') but you could also risk infection, gangrene or worse trying to take care of it yourself. If you are serious about doing something about the extra skin, seek the advise of a plastic surgeon. That's what they do. Good luck!
Reply:"extra skin" doesn't exist. And you don't have "extra skin" 'down there' as you so eloquently put it, that's normal. I think cutting skin off would make a guy think you're were more nasty than you being a normal physical female would.

Reply:Sorry! No, don't do that. I wouldn't want to self medicate on an area like that. That might work, but I wouldn't risk it. Most guys are not gonna worry about that though... let's face it, those aren't the prettiest organs we have. Especially after child birth and everything else. Don't worry about it, but if you still are go to a doctor and maybe get surgery.... they finance.
