What can I use on my face? Im a 17 year old girl....?

I am 17 years old and want something for everyday use. I was thinking of using an anitwrinkle cream on my skin because I wanna have nice skin when im 30-40. What should I use to keep it healthy and youthful looking? Are antiwrinkle creams safe to use at my age? I want something that will keep my skin tight!!

What can I use on my face? Im a 17 year old girl....?
Don't use anti-wrinkle cream if you don't need it!!!!!

It won't do you any good

The best thing to do is use facial wash with no perfume or color, it's best if it's natural, and then moisturize (no perfume again) everyday after you've washed your face.

My favorite range is Simple, but that's in the UK. I have no idea what you have to choose from. :]

Also, the main key to great skin is what you eat.

Plenty of fresh fruit and water will make your skin beautiful =]
Reply:biore!!!!
Reply:I get compliments on my skin all the time and I have three swear by it reasons that produce good skin...1) Oil of Olay products, just use the daily foam cleanser and also moisturizer 2) I avoid dairy as much as possible and I'm a vegetarian and 3) You are too young to hear ;-)
Reply:Honestly, if you read most consumer reports on them, most wrinkle creams are POINTLESS and minimal at best. At 17, you're washing money down the drain.

What TO do: Avoid heavy sun exposure (the most common cause of prematurely aging skin!), wear sunscreen and facial moisturisers or cover-up with SPF in it, drink LOTS of water (cleanses pores), and avoid alcohol and cigarettes (it ruins your skin, and you can tell by 40 who did it and who doesn't!). But you're smart, so you don't do these anyway.

Don't waste your $$ on those silly expensive creams!!
Reply:use a mosturizer every morning and night. that makes sure you have no wrinkles when your older. thats what everyone i know says.

Are Mass Media Models affecting Society?

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," is an old cleche, but it is true. When one society observes what is considered beautiful in another society it can seem strange (especially on National Geographic). Is female beauty learned from mass media in modern American and European societies? If it is, could it be harmful to the women who dont fit part or all of the mold and to the men and women who buy into the absolute opinions of mass media? I wonder if the opinions of society would be the same if people were not bombarded with motivating associations to certain images. For example (blond=pretty, brunette=plain), (thin=pretty, fat=ugly), (lots of skin visible or skin tight clothes=sexy, less skin visible or loose fitting clothes=frumpy), (young=desirable, old=sad and alone)...

Are Mass Media Models affecting Society?
It's very harmful to non-Caucasian women especially. If they're banning trans fats, they need to go ahead and get rid of the overly tall models (something is inherently wrong when a woman's taller than her father, I always say.)
Reply:That they are....but they are just like anything else.
Reply:Wow... What a question! I'd have to say absolutely.
Reply:In a way yes.

In all honesty, I think many of us are at the realisation that what the media says is not only right. There are people standing against that stuff and there are more awareness.

Yes, girls want to be pretty.

And the media affects many of us, including myself.

And who says brunettes are plain?

I think brunettes are the prettiest.

Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not all of us in Western Society even like the same exact things.

For example, in men.... I am more attracted to darker haired men than lighter haired men.

I don't think blonde guys are ugly. I like darker haired guys better.

I like dark haired guys with any colour eyes and I like them short and thin where as another girl might like a blonde with blue eyes and for him to be buff.

I am not big on buff guys.

Im planing to get some hollister jeans i hear they run small what size should i get ?

im a size 0/1 i like them to feel tight but not skin tight.

i wear a size zero in aeropostale

size 0 in american eagle but those fit me kinda loose

i was 106 but im probrably 110 now my jeans are starting to fit tighter what size should i get i want those venice jeans♥

Im planing to get some hollister jeans i hear they run small what size should i get ?
well you'd be best off going to the store and trying them on but it sounds like you'd probably wear a one. i'm 110 but i have to wear a 3 because they are really tight on me in the thighs, but based on your other sizes you seem about one size smaller than me every where so yeah try a one.
Reply:yes, they do run small, im a 5 AND I HAVE TO GET A 7 THERE. but i love there jeans, there the only ones i buy!
Reply:2 b safe get the next size up
Reply:Try either a size 1 or 3. 3 might be a little loose, so you'd be safer getting the size 1.
Reply:I'm the same size and the same weight, but I wear a size 1 in Hollister. Yeah, the AE jeans are kind of loose in a zero but they run big. I hope I could help!
Reply:your best bet is to go to the store and try on different sizes and get the ones that are made for you. obvious.
Reply:Try getting a size 2?
Reply:I'm a size 0 in general but in hollister i'm a size 3.

If anything, you might have to go up at least a size or two..so you should try on a size 1 or 3.

Males of ALL age groups PLEASE READ THIS....PLEASE !?

Guys PLEASE tell the world how you feel when you see a woman dressed in skin tight jeans, not just tight or snug to show off her shape, but I'm talking so tight you can see her vaginal lips around the inseam of her jeans...or if she is wearing a top that has a neckline that is showing off cleavage...then how do you feel when you see it's a padded bra?...or if she is wearing skirts so short you can see her bare assed cheeks in clear sight when she bends over...and no pantie hose or stockings at all...only a G string?...Now PLEASE express your feelings about how you would feel looking at a woman like this and then express your emotions if that same woman was your Wife or your Mother...and then what if she was 53 years old?

Males of ALL age groups PLEASE READ THIS....PLEASE !?
gross to be honest. working in a city centre i see it all the time. its women reliving their youth but its not working. i work in st Mary's st in Cardiff and see a lot of hen nites and its not nice seeing older women being letting loose in small clothes when blokes are laughing at them, and taking bets who can score! good luck
Reply:OK wow i am guessing this is your mother?I feel really bad for you!
Reply:I'm repulsed by all flamboyantly obnoxious attempts at being sexy through overly revealing dress. If a woman has a good figure and wants to show it off, anything will do; she doesn't need to go to an extreme which often looks trashy. Don't get me wrong, I love when my girl does a little something special with her attire, but understatement is best. What's more is that being sexy has NOTHING to do with clothing and everything to do with confidence and self-esteem; it's an attitude projected from within, not an outfit you put on from the outside.

Now, having said that, I seem to be in the minority. I can't tell you the number of fat girls that I see who wear low riders with a half shirt and yet they bulge in the middle. How can they think this is 'sexy'? I see a l of girls wearing low riders with their 'whale tail' thong sticking up, visible on their backside. This is about as sexy as those dopey boys who wear their pants half way down their butts. Maybe I am too old to understand this. Or, more likely, I am too classy. (And obviously not afraid to say it.)

If this was your wife or mother, you have to ask her why she feels she has to dress that way. What is she not getting that makes her feel insecure or not sexy or whatever so that she has to try to compensate. If she insists that there is nothing wrong and she just likes to dress that way, you have to options: 1) Figure out why she is, perhaps, lying or isn't conscious of the problem or 2) Tell her that she embarrasses you and you do not want to be seen with her like that.

Good luck.

GUYS: Can you tell that a girl has nice, big boobs, if they're not showing???

Let's say she's wearing something nice and pretty, like a two-piece suit and there is no cleavage showing. Or maybe nice tight jeans and a cute top, with a jacket over it....basically u can't see any boobs and the top is not skin tight!

If she had a great set, would you be able to tell that she did??? If so, what makes it obvious? Do you have to stare at them, to figure it out? How close do you need to get, to figure out that she has got some really nice big boobs?

I ask because I got a nice rack, but I don't always wear tops with cleavage showing, or tight shirts. So, I wonder how much guys can figure out? Share your thoughts guys!

GUYS: Can you tell that a girl has nice, big boobs, if they're not showing???
It isn't very difficult to figure out a woman has nice racks even if it isn't too obvious. You don't have to be wearing a deep v-neck for us to realize you are sexy.

I wouldn't stare and make it very obvious to a woman unless the relationship is very different. Especially when you don't wear revealing clothes, it is understood that you aren't exactly showing off your body. And it might even be rude for me to shift my eyes over your racks, leave alone stare at them.

It's all about how comfortable you are. What you wear usually is about who you are, and what you're comfortable with. I can assure you that "Nice things never go unnoticed ;-)".
Reply:No. Bras these days are like a Bag of Potato Chips. When you open it up and see half a bag it gets kinda annoying!!!!
Reply:IF you are so fine, why don't you have your photo up instead of an avatar?!
Reply:Shame on you for covering up those magnificent "fun bags."

But, I think I just came a little reading your question!

lol
Reply:Your question excites me
Reply:It's harder to know for sure with all the new bra enhancements now-a-days but if you got a lot up top then I'm sure we can tell no matter what you are wearing!
Reply:you should share a picture of them :)

you can tell, just how she stands, looks
Reply:Especially if she's my girl, I like stuff exactly like that, and yes, I can tell. I think it's sexier to leave some things to the imagination....it builds anticipation and makes you appreciate it more when you do get to see what's underneath.
Reply:By the shape of the cloths
Reply:for me it depends on like her body size if she is thick then i will assume they are big but if she's real skinny then i'll think she is flat chested
Reply:i'm not a guy but....now a days it's harder to tell because of gel bras and wonder bras

maybe you should start wearing the outfit without the jacket on so they have more to view if you are so concerned with the issue?
Reply:Judging by ur pics on your 360 page, trust me, we can tell. Very cute by the way!

But for my personal opinion I can tell you that showing a little is ok, but to much is bad. Making a guy use his imagination is a lot better than just lettign it all hang out!
Reply:It depends on a lot. The more layers you wear, the less a person can tell. Obviously, a girl that is naked, we can pretty much go, "Yup, nice rack." You put a bikini on, we'll still be able to tell, then you put on a loose tee-shirt and some of the mid-level sizes look about the same but really big and really flat are still pretty obvious. You put on a button up blouse over that, and it's a little harder to tell. A jacket over that, and it's still harder, then a coat over that and the mid level sizes and the smaller sizes all kind of blend together. Pretty much, if you can tell, we can tell.
Reply:that is the dumbest question Ive ever heard if you have a nice rack you would think you would be able to see even if your cleavage isnt showing how old are ya 12?

How will my dress fit? Wedding problem!!?

Okay so my brother's wedding is TOMORROW and I am a brides mate.

The dress was altered to fit like SKIN TIGHT. When she had me try the dress on, I had not eaten at all, and it was even tight then.

I tried the dress on tonite and I can't even get the zipper up all the way.

I don't know what the hell to do, because it's tomorrow.

Do you think maybe because I've eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner it's just feeling tighter. Should I just not eat tomorrow and I'll be okay?

I'm so scared. helppppp

How will my dress fit? Wedding problem!!?
I had this problem with my wedding dress!! Depends on what time the wedding is you may need to see if you can get a last minute alteration. Definitely eat light. Try this: eat nothing but low carb fruits and veggies, exercise, and drink lots of water to cut the water retention, if any. Something else that worked for me was this spa treatment that knocks inches off you in only a session or two within one hour:

http://www.suddenlyslender.com/

find one in your area.

Oh yeah, another thing buy a good girdle or corset. this will pull in areas you may need it the most.
Reply:Go buy some Spanx...or even a knock off brand at Wal Mart...they will suck you in atleast one size and maybe even 2 sizes. You will be able to zip up your dress after you have the Spanx on for sure.
Reply:try a corset or some type of slimming undergarment
Reply:Another dress may be the answer or just wear the dress skin tight , It is up to you . Just be honest and tell the Bride and Groom the truth and get a new dress. It is that simple.
Reply:get some "spanx" there's a body shaper which will take a couple inches off, without any "muffin" tops

Do u think guys look better...?

in tighter or baggyer clothing? i like the tighter shirts..but not like skin tight.

I think guys look hot in tight shirts, but not too tight and baggy jeans, but not stupid baggy.
Reply:baggy
Reply:Baggy clothes look weird, but not too tight so it looks like u cant breath
Reply:baggy pants and the shirt not 2 baggy yet not 2 tight.

Reply:no
Reply:Yup tighter but not 2 tight I think baggy clothes look kinda weird make the guy look like a rapper wen he's not.

Just my opinion.
Reply:i love it when their clothes fit! and their not sagging off their butts. but also not skin tight
Reply:Not so much baggy but loose fitting. I hate the tight fitting shits and pants that some guys wear. I call guys tight pants nut crunchers cause they look like punishment for their balls.
Reply:why ask of you already have an answer and beside everyone have a different answer
Reply:Slightly tight shirts, but not skin tight, as you say.
Reply:Baggy clothes are for high school guys. Real men dress in more form fitting attire.
Reply:Well, as a guy who could stand to lose a few pounds, I'm all about baggy. Baggy lets me give the illusion that I *might* be better looking than I actually am underneath those clothes.
Reply:Baggier babii!
Reply:both are ok, but the whole pants hanging halfway down your butt with your undies hanging out are NOT COOL!!!
Reply:tight but not too tight comfortable
Reply:tighter all the way, with the exception of the crotch. i dont want to see the banana thru the jeans. a little snug around the *** is nice sometimes, though. and nothing like a classic tight white or black T
Reply:Shirts can be a bit loose, but pants should NOT be baggy. Never liked the look.. guys look like little kids wearing big brothers clothes lol
Reply:Baggy pants are cool, not too baggy, like falling off of you or anything, just baggy enough to look comfortable. Shirt not baggy at all, girls who like guys in baggy shirts are just embarrassed that their boyfriends look like living stick figures.
Reply:umm,, Personally I like guys in beggy clothing.

To me,, one who wears tight shirts and pants, they looks like gay,, I m not trying to b mean to you or anything, but why don't you try beggy clothing,? Cuz most of my friends like guys in beggy clothing than tight,,, guys in baggey clothing looks HOT!

Have a great day!
Reply:Personally I prefer tighter fitting shirts. Not the kind that are skin tight but the ones that show the shape of a guy's upper body. I find that BIG baggy shirts make a guy look sloppy and unkept. A well fitting shirt shows that the guy put a little thought into his looks the baggy ones looked like he just jumped out of bed and grabbed the first thing he could reach.
Reply:If you have a nice body, tight shirts... not too tight, but not huge. Pant should always be a little loose around the legs but fit close to the waist... not too tight.

Hope this helps!!
Reply:baggy
Reply:Anything that is well made and fits properly looks great on guys.
Reply:in shirts i would say tight but like u said not skin tight

in shorts and pants baggy!

it looks cute!
Reply:I think that whatever flaunts a mans body the best, is the best decision. If a man has something to hide in the stomach area then probably a little bit baggier shirt would work. BUT if a man has a very tight stomach that is toned, then by all means wear a shirt that shows it off. Trust me no one will mind.

I miss the 90's. Is anyone else sick of fashion in 2007?

I really miss the 90's -- The loose clothing, the grunge look, the outrageous fun colors... It was such a great vibe to me.

Nowadays everyone dresses in skin-tight girl jeans (regardless of gender), and those tight vintage tee's... All the tightness! I just can't get used to it, it's uncomfortable and looks awkward. Especially when many of the kids wanting to be trendy just end up having their fat hanging out of their clothes.

All my friends (I'm 22) make fun of my clothes for being 'too big'. I think their clothes are too damn tight. Am I insane, or am I not alone?

I miss the 90's. Is anyone else sick of fashion in 2007?
It's all about style %26amp; that is in right now but no your not insane you just have taste. The clothes they have out there now are for skinny tall girls who like tight pants, 3 inch heels, skirts that (hell no) you bend over %26amp; ********* and tops that look like bras or something. Yes even the fat girls are wearing the style just to fit in %26amp; it is Gross. What can you do, people out there still dress in the 70,80, 90, and have no problem but some think if you don't wear todays clothes your odd. I agree with you they are the odd ones.
Reply:i think we dress fine but i was born in 93. i think 90s clothing was a little ugly. but, there is nothing wrong with wearing things a little lose. if people wear things to tight it can be obscene.
Reply:I agree I hate tight clothing the 90's were pretty awesome (great tv too)
Reply:well, the 90's are not comin back... some of the clothes lately are really cool and i like them... but if you look at the fashion shows in like paris or something, the clothes are UGLY! the "fashion designers" dont have a sense of fashion at all! but look at tyra banks - she can pull it off really well... some clothes may look bad, but you never know until you try it!
Reply:Everything (in my opinion) was too flashy, but then again my friend rants on me for wearing enough colour. Go figure....

I hate it when people buy clothes that look too small. Not just tight, but so that you can everything, and all the fat hangs out....
Reply:i also like loose fitting clothes. I hate that tight sh*t.
Reply:I like the fashion now a days, yes I agree that most fat people have their fat hanging out of thir clothes and it is disgusting, but the hot girls do look sexier in those skin showing clothes.
Reply:Bring back the grunge look, need else said! Amen brother!
Reply:Count me in.
Reply:The 90's fashion was a little too wild if you ask me. I prefer fashions from the 40's, 50's, and today. Oh yeah, and I love the Victorian fashion.

Emo ideas, styles, and suggestions for me !!?

Yah...im emo, and i want to get everybodies sugestion on how i should style myself...(dont call me lame, immature, and dont comment on how lame and evil emos are...)

i currently wear dark colors, black shoes (i want skeleton bone lacess for my shoes)

my parents JUST took away my super tight pants, which i think got to small for me anyway, so we are going to a few stores (like hot topic and stuff) to pick out some new pants. What pants do you guys think I should get? Im thinking tight, but not skin tight black, or grey pants. Yah i like thoes, any thoughts?

Also, my hair currently is sideways against my forehead (signature emo style) but i dont know what to do with it because my dad keeps telling me i cant do a lot of the stuff i like to do. So here is what Im thinking...Have it longer on the sides, shorter in the back, and sideways in the front?

Yeah well give me some ideas, just for the heck of it..

im also a skater so yah.

Emo ideas, styles, and suggestions for me !!?
lol. okay make sure your pants aren't too tight, that's a turn-off for girls =P .. and let hair grow long. f*ck what they say. keep your hair long. good luck =]
Reply:tight(ish) black pants or tight jeans I think is hot on emos. basically anything at hot topic is amazing so just browse around until u find something u like.

Don't pay attention to ur parents cuz its ur hair not theirs. I should've done that before they chopped mine off.
Reply:You could always have it spiked up in the front and longer in the back. Sideburns- never do anything to them. I'd say I think emos look better in acid washed or faded black jeans, and old-school shoes like Converse are perfect.
Reply:well let me help you because you need it

1) hot topic is overpriced but if you have to go there get Tripp NYC jeans even though they are cheaper other places(Check out there website for stores beside hot topic)

2) for band shirts go to www.interpunk.com they have almost every band shirt you can find and don't charge you an arm and a

leg like hot topic.

3)Pacsun believe it or not is one of the best stores for "emo stuff"

4)volcom and billibong have sick stuff that is good.

5)just have hair it really doesn't matter for short hair mowhawk or just have long hair that gets in front of your face or hair that you cut yourself is the least poser.

6)dye your hair different colors a lot if you are emo it is fun. black one day half your head read the next all blond you know just be creative.

7)last but not least go to vans and get the shoes girls guys it doesn't matter that are for sale because they always have the "emo" ones for sale the bright green ones or the misfits ones.

8) Please don't call yourself emo at least admit to being scene.

If your parents are strict about your clothes and style I doubt they will let you use any of the colours on this site, but there are over 700 punk, emo %26amp; goth photos so you should get some good ideas for styles. Also if you look in the shop section there are loads of alterntive items which also might give you some ideas of what to get when your out :)

Fashion help?

This going to to sound so dumb but these girls at my school wear skin tight pants, but how can they be tight without being too short? Is it the type of pants?the designer? The pants are tight until down to the knees, but come loose from there.I really want a pair but I dont know what brand or whtever to look for. Thanks!!

Fashion help?
You need to find a good brand for your kind of body.

Have you ever tried the store fornarina ? The matieral is pretty good. ( they stretch ) www.fornarina.com
Reply:are they skinny or flare? there are many brands like this in all different price ranges. you have to focus on jeans that hve stretch in them. There are soo many jeans that do this...whats your price range??
Reply:uhh any normal store should have them, like hollister or american eagle, even jcpennys i think.

just look for them %26amp; try a bunch on
Reply:I think you are talking about flare jeans, look for something with an elastic blend so it can stretch and fit you better. Good luck! :)

Can someone please explain to me why guys and boys as young as 6 to 20 years old?

wearing these skin tight jeans that are like way too tight, tight enough to cut off blood flow i just want to know why? oh and i saw a guy wearing a skirt the other day, is that becoming a trend too?

Can someone please explain to me why guys and boys as young as 6 to 20 years old?
It's no worse than the trend for clothes WAY to big, Pants hanging off their butt, underwear showing, the crotch down to their knees or lower. There there are those things they call "shorts" that are really ugly capris? I'm not sure of the difference between seeing hairy legs in shorts versus a skirt.
Reply:The skirt..naw I doubt it'll ever be a trend. I don't wanna see hairy legs everywhere..blah..
Reply:yeah, its a trend, sort of an emo thing. some go really far and it looks like they have tights on. its not attractive. it makes their legs look like chicken legs

and with the skirt thing, are you sure you werent in scotland?

nos da!
Reply:Well, with kids it could be that they are outgrowing their clothes.
Reply:Yeah I heard about that new skirt wearing thing....its called a 'Utilikilt' I believe. And those skin tight pants are some sort of punk rock style offshoot.

Which character from Deliverance did you fancy?

I always had a crush on Jon Voight...gotta love a boyish man.

My best friend always fancied Burt Reynolds...hee hee..can't wait for her to read this one....look for her diatribe below (I think it was his skin tight vest that he undoubtedly purchased from Fingerhut)...that or the skin tight pants that allowed you to count every hair on his body.

Anyway, I had taste and always fancied Jon Voight. Well hell, I still do, I suppose...all bloated and jowly now....but then, he was quite the prize...

No I'm not drinking.

Which character from Deliverance did you fancy?
The one with the purdy mouth
Reply:I didn't fancy any of them but it's a GREAT movie.
Reply:Ned Beatty, lol. SQUEAL LIKE A PIG! lol
Reply:The mere thought of that film turns me cold so I can honestly say that none of them took my fancy.

After weight loss?!?

I lost 35 pounds this summer from diet and exercise I do situps and pilates every night and now my stomache is bery flat but the skin is like not tight and kinda wrinkly not gross but it doesnt looke like a normal flat stomache i guess . anyone have tips on makeing the skin tighter? Im 15 by the way

After weight loss?!?
Fact is,this happens to everyone that loses that much weight.Scientists heave concluded that due to the fact that skin is really not that resilient you may in fact have to deal with the "extra skin".That's the specific reason surgeons offer surgical procedures for this.

Doing extra abdominal work "may" reap some benefits but you really are stuck with this. It's possible some of the effect may decrease over time but you did lose quite a bit of weight.

Drinking water will do absolutely nothing to remedy this problem while there is the slightest possibility consuming more protein could have a positive impact.Your skin is comprised mostly of keratin and collagen proteins so this could have a positive effect though doubtful.Only time will tell as every ones skin has a different level of resiliency.

If you're going to use a lotion make sure it's plant based and not lanolin.Lanolin is the biggest scam in the skin care industry.Your skin can only absorb vegetable lipids and not animal lipids.Animal lipids and petroleum products are only good for protecting the skin from moisture loss and damage from cold or wind. The same goes for mineral oil.
Reply:tone your stomach by doing abdominol exercises
Reply:well once the skin is strechted out it can't go back. sorry but your are going to have to live with it.
Reply:drink more water
Reply:It sounds like you lost too much weight far too quickly...and you're only 15?!

Just do exercises to tone your stomach. It might take a while. You just lost weight quickly and your skin may be sagging a wee bit.

Reply:Extra skin is not going to go anywhere w/o plastic surgery. Just focus on staying healthy for now.
Reply:Just keep up the hard work and the results will come.
Reply:I too am having the same issue mine is due to the birth of my second baby. I lost the weight right away but have the loose wrinkly skin. The DR told me all it will take is time, and to use lotion. I try to use stuff that has vitamins and things that say help with skin elasticty. I rub it in twice a day...hopefully time will improve it!

CONGRADS on your hard work and your weight loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:you gotta run. running will tighten you up.

run run run
Reply:I too have lost a lot of weight and dealt with the skin problem. It sounds like it really isn't that bad but at your age I can understand why it bothers you. Make sure you use lotion on your skin every day. This will help keep your skin moist and help it get its shape back. You are young so you have that going for you- your body will bounce back quicker. I think by the time spring gets here you will be OK. Not like your gonna be wearing a bikini in the middle of winter :-) so enjoy the recovery time and get ready to show off in the spring.

Women are being abducted dailey but you still see lots of girls half naked in public?

Personally, I dig looking at the skin ....but im not a killer sizing up his next victim...........I mean, exactly what is the point of all those tight, skin tight outfits and shorts that go all the way up there???

Women are being abducted dailey but you still see lots of girls half naked in public?
It should bother them. You are right. And girls you have no idea of how sex offenders think. I work with kids who are sex offenders and have read their pyscho-sexual and psycho-social profiles and histories and beleive me the way they think is scary. For instance if they think seeing a six year old girl swinging or doing cartwheels is a sexual turn on, what do you think they think of you? Do you realize that they interpret your completely innocent actions in an very inappropriate way? They do not think like normal people and their is no way you would want to think like them.

Some modesty would really help you not get hurt. I am not saying your actions are to blame for their thoughts, but trying to tell you something to protect you.

And by the way they rape boys too, and don't think you can spot them easily some of the nicest ones are the sickest mentally, it's their cover.
Reply:Women should be allowed to wear whatever they want.
Reply:Is this a political question?
Reply:We crave attention!!!

Besides no perv is going to stop us enjoying how we feel/look!
Reply:The point is it is about getting attention.
Reply:there stupid its as simple as that the girl that got abducted put her adress and phone # on face book
Reply:why is it that with half naked girls, its always the wrong half thats naked?
Reply:Why do construction workers on the side of the road where no shirts and sexy tool belts? I guess they deserve to get raped. The blame is on men, you !@#$ why blame women for men being monsters?
Reply:Into blaming the victim instead of holding the perpetrator responsible for their actions are ya?
Reply:The way women dress has not been shown to be a factor in abductions, or rape at all. It's primarily about violence and hate, not about sex. Sex is used as a tool to degrade, but the primary driving force is not sex itself. Most criminals who abduct or rape women don't choose someone who is so secure they are dressing scantily. They look for someone who has victim written all over them by their body language, not what they're wearing.

Try and understand the concept too that a woman could walk down the street naked as a jaybird and no one has the right to touch her. Blaming the victim for the criminal's actions is not right in any case.
Reply:It has been drilled into them by the main stream media that acting and dressing as slutty as possible is "cool" and "hot". So being dumbed down in this comatose state of social engineering, they whore around publicly inviting abduction and rape yet when it REALLY happens, everyone pretends to not understand why. What a sad state of affairs.
Reply:Maybe you'd like to pose your question differently. It seems that according to the way the question was posed that if women dressed more conservatively they would be abducted less. It is never a woman's fault when she is abused. Woman don't wan to be abducted or raped suggesting that their clothing choice is the reason they were harmed doesn't make much sense. If a man wants to abduct someone randomly it has nothing to do with the woman. She's just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Reply:There are people who are insane roaming among us. They have no consideration for other people. It is important that females and in some cases males, be alert to protect against being abducted by some pervert. Many of these abductions are reported on tv and it becomes a topic of discussion, but many other cases are never aired on tv, so we don't know the exact number of cases that have been reported to the police. The numbers may be staggering. I usually watch the news on tv at least twice a day, and at the end of the year, when total recaps of the number of crimes regarding abductions is reported, there are hundreds. I never read anything more about the outcome of the cases. Are there many recoveries? I hope so, with the victims being returned safe and sound. The only ones that are kept in the news is when there is sensationalism to be had for "ratings" and to bring attention to the media. Many people dress to get attention, but it's possible that perverts may think that this is an invitation for them to seize people and to do bodily harm to them. Be careful out there.
Reply:Women SHOULD be allowed to wear whatever they want - but the sexualizing of the female body should be kept strictly for ADULTS. What really bothers me is the image that our society is selling to pre/early teens...

When you were 12, did you dress "sexy" (or the way you do now)? And did you ever think that you looked fat when you were 7?

Today, 13 is the new 16 - just go onto the "Family %26amp; Relationships" board, and look at all the sex questions from thirteen year-olds (and all the replies that start off "you're too young to be...")
Reply:I applaud you for having the nerve to ask a question that will likely get you hammered. It is also true, but perhaps distasteful to combine the shabbily dressed young women with our perceived rise in crimes of violence against women.

Honestly, pornography is doubly the culprit here, in my opinion. As our nation's men become more addicted to porn, our nation's women feel the need to do more to attract male attention.

And pornography is also the culprit in sexual crimes against women. When men view women as objects for their pleasure, instead of human beings with their own needs, women become disposable, when they fail to live up to the fantasies of men.
Reply:LMFAO!!!!! sorry i just had to let it out hahaha this is too funny
Reply:rape is about power, not sex.

girls could wear a burka and a rapist would still rape
Reply:Don't blame the victim. No woman asks to be attacked. That is ludicrous. Most men who attack women (according to an email I once received) prefer women with elastic waistbands, like sweat pants, something easily taken off; women with ponytails, something to grab a hold of; not tube tops and red lipstick. Rape is about power and dominance.

What's with the belly fat rollover (ie. "Muffin Top") phenomenon?

I'm not being critical here, so please don't attack me (yeah, right). I want serious answers only. I'm just trying to understand this - there has to be a reason because it's so common.

Is there a reason why women these days are wearing skin tight jeans with skin tight shirts so you can see the belly rolls? The clothes are clearly ill-fitting, so there has to be a reason for it.

Is it a sign of fertility or something?

Is it because clothes are expensive and they can't afford new things?

It it just the style? Are you trying to assert that women can be beautiful — rolls and all?

Please, there has to be an answer to this! I want to know. That's why I'm posting.

What's with the belly fat rollover (ie. "Muffin Top") phenomenon?
I'm with you. I don't understand it. VERY few women are flattered by that muffin top look. It accentuates the worst in even young, slim girls.

Many women are not confident in their own personal style and they simply do not know what looks good on them--colors nor style of clothing. They have to wear whatever the current fad is, even if they look horrible in it. And any woman who would wear tight fitting clothes that show her rolls and rolls of fat either doesn't care about her appearance or is in serious denial.
Reply:Tight hip hugging pants came in to fashion, and girls with a little too much fat tried to pull it off as if they were skinny. It didn't work and the fat spills over the top of the pants.
Reply:i dont know why they do it..maybe they're afraid of bigger sizes?
Reply:lol i think they are in denial about their size. i have a friend who always buys a size too small

i don't think they realise it, or its something mental, like they don't want to believe their size

or they just think it looks hot ;x
Reply:i have no idea...... see i wear clothes that are the right sizes.. but always feel i have the muffin top... ewww feels so gross
Reply:Well, I don't think it's the style. It's the fact that many people are in denial about the size they really are and are trying to squeeze into something that is obviously too tight but makes them feel better b/c they are able to get into a size 8 or 10 or whatever it is, even though they are really a size or two bigger. No matter what the reason, this never looks good and nothing will make a person fatter than ill fitting clothes.
Reply:I think people want to wear the style to follow fashion, without considering how it is going to look on them. If style dictates that a section of your body has to be revealed either by tight fitting clothes or by actually showing it, then many people will go ahead and reveal it, regardless of whether theirs ought to be seen or would be better off hidden.
Reply:hey the designers think every one is a sise 1 or 0 so they make things as little as possiable
Reply:well, I don´t know about other women, but %26gt;I hate it..however sometimes I´ve shown a little bit of fat as well, due to weight changes and too lazy to go shopping... I think a lot of women refuse to go a size bigger when they gain weight, which of course is ridiculous, the number of the size doesn´t matter, how it looks on you does though...but maybe I am all wrong and it´s a trend or smt, I am curious myself..
Reply:THICK people need luv too..... They want to show off what they mama gave them.....They want to be like the skinny gurl ,,they dn't wont to be left out ......But truth is i realy don't knw the answer to that i have been wondering they same thing ....Now that summer is coming up there is going to be skin alll over ....but whe you find out let me knw
Reply:LOL That was funny :)
Reply:I think it's just stupidity.

Wearing jeans that tight isn't healthy for a couple of reasons that I won't get into on here. lol

I don't care what people look like, if they want to show off their gut who cares. But they should care about their health more than their looks.
Reply:I think it's happening because women (and Americans in general) are gaining weight faster than they realize. Sometimes we tend to refuse to let go of old clothing, even if it's ill-fitting, because we don't want to admit to ourselves that we've outgrown stuff.

I think it's a by-product of the typical American lifestyle: eat fatty food (including junk food), drink a bunch of soda, and then drive a car all the time instead of walking places.

Voila! Muffin-top!
Reply:Unfortunately, some women have that Male Gene that inhibits them from looking into a mirror before they leave the house! They think they look good just because their outfit looks good on other people. Just like men who need other people to dress them because they are color blind - and have no fashion sense!

One more reason might be that clothing fits differently throughout the day, depending on your level of activity - we are also slimmer when we wake up because our spine cartilage hasn't compacted yet which will make a woman look frumpy after they leave for the day because their bodies are literally being squished making the muffin top or oozing belly protrude sideways because it has nowhere else to go!!!
Reply:it's because people are getting bigger but the makers of all the trendy fashionable stuff are idiots %26amp; keep making their stuff too small so that only stick thin girls can wear it %26amp; it's unfair. OR they could be stuck in the "misfit 20s" category that my friend %26amp; I came up with. Basically everything is made for teen girls %26amp; under or women in their 30s %26amp; over but nothing specifically in the 20s range that looks good %26amp; is age appropriate but is NOT club wear or "old lady" wear. I have that problem. I'm 24, the "juniors" stuff is waaaayyy too flashy %26amp; small for me but at the same time all the "misses" type stuff looks like crap my mother would wear. UGH! Not all the bigger sizes are all that good looking either. I've got a friend who wears an 18/20 %26amp; rarely finds anything she likes because half of it is so ugly.

How do you get rid of white stretch marks?

Will exercise and weight loss help?

I'm not large or anything... I'm five feet,100lbs, size 0, but I guess easily putting on and taking off 5-6lbs every so often might've caused it.

I exercise occasionally, but not enough to notice any changes. I exercise enough to burn off a few of the calories that I've injested throughout the day, but not enough to actually burn off fat. Would increasing my level of exercise to burn fat get rid of white stretch marks?

Because I know that when I pull the skin tight around the area with the stretch marks, they're not visible anymore. So I'm guessing that tighter and firmer skin would reduce the appearance of them significantly?

How do you get rid of white stretch marks?
Try Cocoa Butter or this cream is really good too http://www.stretch-mark.net
Reply:bio-oil?
Reply:Massaging on the stretch marks serves as an excellent home remedy for stretch marks removal. You can either use olive oil, flaxseed oil, vitamin E oil or cod liver oil for the purpose of massage. Check out http://useinfo-stretchmarks.blogspot.com... for more useful info.

Why do women are so critical when it comes to men wearing revealing clothes?

I am fed up with all the negatives comments from women against men wearing speedos, thight jeans, short shorts, etc. I work out a lot and try to watch what I eat, I have been told that I have a nice body. I refuse to cover it with all those stupid baggy clothes. I am going to wear my speedos and tight clothes because I can pull it off. Women say that speedos are gross. What do you have to say about fat women waring skin tight clothes and bikinis at the beach with all that skin hanging out. NOW THAT, IS GROSS. However according to you women thats ok. Therefore I have decided to wear whatever the hell I want and I would invite all those in shape men who want to show their bodies to stop listening to ignorant and closed minded people and get out of those stupid potatoe sacks with holes known as baggy clothes.

Why do women are so critical when it comes to men wearing revealing clothes?
Okay first of all I just right away assume a guy wearing tight clothes is gay. I don't say anything negative about it but in my mind I assume he's gay because the guys I've known that are gay tend to wear tight clothes. I guess that's me being sterotypical, unfortunately. Also I think negatively about women with bad bodies wearing tight clothing. I don't think anyone should wear super tight clothes and revea their bodies that much no matter what their body looks like. I think a person's body is something that should be shared only with the one you love and not the whole world. Also you don't have to wear skin tight jeans and shirts to show off your body.

Edit: I agree with the poster directly below me.
Reply:you're absolutely right.

if you've got a good body, show it off!
Reply:ur totally right ....i mean hell a speedo is more ******* sexy then seeing a fat woman in a bikini...now that makes me wanna puke ugh.
Reply:Actually, I don't think overweight women wearing revealing clothing is okay. I agree with you, it's unattractive. However, the reason women generally find tight clothing on men unattractive is because the male body is not shaped in such a way that they look good on them. The female body is soft and shapely, lending itself better to clingy clothes than the hard, angular lines of the male body. And we don't have a bumpy bit in the front when we wear tight underclothes or swimsuits that, uh, reacts to changes in... conditions.

But hey, just because -most- women find speedos unattractive, doesn't mean all do. I'm sure there are ladies who find it hawt and would like to see you strut your stuff in one -- if you are all you say you are. You just need to find them. Good luck!
Reply:Most of the time I hear women complain is when the men in question do not have the bodies to be wearing skin tight clothes. Trust me that if some hot studly guy like Tyson Beckford decides he wants to run around in his speedo, I won't have anything to say but daaammmnnnnn. If you have a sexy physique, who cares what some obviously sexually repressed ninnies have to say? BTW, do you have pictures? Just kidding. Sort of...
Reply:Drop it already! Ok. Do what you want. It still doesn't change my mind about men in speedos or short shorts. For the record, I feel the same way you do about most women in bikinis.

Drop the generalized "you women" crap. I am neither ignorant nor closed-minded simply because I have an opinion that you don't agree with.

You are insulting women because of some shallow obsession you have with your clothing......

What are the Benefits of Exercise?

I am 24/m I weigh 233lbs, I should weigh about 185lbs. I used to weigh 258lbs. I did lose 25lbs in 3 months. I burned 800 calories 2-3x a week. When i was 258lbs, I had dark red ugly strech marks, About 1/2 Have disappeated and the other half are fading..

But I dont think me doing exercise have helped me lose weight. i THINK It was me cutting down in eating.

But If i continued to do a lot of exercise would it reduse any excess skin i may have when i get down to 185lbs??

Would it make my skin tight? Would it make my belly tight when i got to 185lbs?

I dont care how i feel, only how i look. To make a long story short,

What would happen if got down to 185lbs with no exercise, versus i got down to 185lbs doing exercise daily??

What are the Benefits of Exercise?
You'll have to lift weights to tone up excess skin.

Being that you're young, you still have elasticity in your skin so you shouldn't have anything loose...as long as you do weight training. And reverse crunches for the tummy.

Exercise pumps blood to your heart, gives you endorphens, makes you feel at ease and gets you healty!
Reply:physical activity isnt only meant to lose weight.

it KEEPS your weight the SAME a HEALTHY weight meant for you or me.

keeping it up and burning calories help you have a nice body and health.

excersing is helpful for everyone these day

stopping them can make you gain agian..because if you dont burn, you gain...thats all to it.

you should keep excersing even though you reached your goa weight...or you might loose it again.

Bottoms never fit me right?

I'm only 5' and I've tried on almost every pair of bottom rather it be khakis, jeans, etc.. they all fit the same and I've tried different sizes, shorts, petite section and I don't have a butt (which is my major problem LOL) so nothing to hold it up back there and when I don't like them skin tight where I can hardly breathe but I can't find a store that sales a good size they are either skin tight or very baggy around my hips and I'm small so belts just look funny and nothing fits right at all!

Also, what are some suggestion you all have.. I have a date tonight and I want to look cut but not too dressed up and black pants bug me at times so what would you suggest wearing with jeans that may be cute?

Thank you in advance!!

Bottoms never fit me right?
I also have a hard time finding pants that fit. If it fits in one part of the body, it's too small or too big in another.

As a fan of What Not to Wear, I've learned that you should buy pants that fit your biggest part, then spring for the extra $15 to have them altered. I've done it, and kick myself for not doing it earlier.
Reply:The fact that you are petite is enough, dear. You are gorgeous and dont need to show off your non-existent butt - your face will make up for it!

If you MUST, Id hate to suggest it, but "7 for All Mankind" makes jeans for girls such as yourself (sans butts)...and they cost around $200 a pair.... Or, you could always go to Fredricks and buy butt implants. But I shall warn you - there is nothing worse than getting a girl back to your home only to undress her and figure out she has stuff her panties or bra. Its like being screwed on Xmas with a huge package that has nothing but newspaper in it and some tiny toy at the bottom of the box... Id rather know you have no butt and go from there. Sexual deception should be illegal!

Sistas, what is happening to us?

As a whole, we have always been classy, religion based, and virtuous women. We never resorted to skin tight clothing because we always had nice figures and did not need to. We could wear a business suit and still have the hourglass figure. We have always been copied and envied. We were always the trend setters. So why are we now copying women that with the camel toes and tight tight tight clothing. Some have to but we do not.We raised our children to be obedient, and we were NEVER easy. There use to be nothing more beautifulk than the way that a black woman dressed. Sheek, classy, and conservative. The way that we dressed and carried ourselves demanded respect. Black men I welcome your comments.

Sistas, what is happening to us?
I agree with you my sister. We have always been trendsetters and often imitated. It is up to us to school the next generation. Oh yeah, Jubilant I feel sorry for you.You need to get a clue on what's real.
Reply:You all still look fine to me.

Reply:Speak for yourself, "sista". I'm doing perfectly fine with my life. Don't put us all into the same category. For every black woman who thinks they they have to dress and act a certain way there's another black woman who doesn't give a crap.

And for the young lady who said I need to get a clue, what exactly are you talking about? Am I not allowed to have a mind of my own? Should I believe everything else "the sistahs" believe? Re-evaluate your comments.

I refuse to be forced into a mold that I don't fit in. You should do the same.
Reply:Classy sisters are outnumbered by chicken heads, thats for sure.

I more concerned about the black women driving the economy with all the frivolous spending (I know brothers are doing it to, but sisters are worse).
Reply:well, something is UP in the SOCIETY- and I cannot put my finger on it. In the meantime, let's not pretend that we are one big group that is identical. I talk to the young girls around me when I can- and explain the difference between sexy and trashy...some hear the difference- others don't.

today i woke up and i felt normal, but when i put on my favorite pair of jeans they were really really tight... they were sorta tight before but now they are extremly tight now, like skin tight, its hard to get in them...

could i have gained fat on my tighs and butt?

What is happening?
Could be water retention. It makes you bloated and feel fat.
Reply:Maybe but not over night. Is it your period, did it just end just start, or during it. Because if it is, than you are bloated that is all. When it ends than it will be normal again.
Reply:Maybe...but if you're menustrating, it could be that as well...you tend to retain water weight much more during your period, and that could just be it.
Reply:Well if you've been working out lately you could've just gotten bigger muscles.
Reply:Probably shrunk in the dryer.
Reply:Either they shrunk or you are retaining water
Reply:Well, do your other pants fit? I have a pair of jeans and whenever I put them on after I have washed them they are so tight i can't even move. But they get less tight. Did you just wash yours? Maybe that's why. :)
Reply:You've asked some questions about gaining weight, and eating a lot, so it's possible that you are starting to put weight on. But as you can see from other answers here, there are a lot of reasons your jeans could be tight.

It could be anything from your monthly cycle, to water weight from extra salt, to your jeans being washed. Or maybe it's just how you feel today - lots of girls have 'fat days' even when they're skinny.

Has your waist measurement changed, or your hips measurement? Both could affect the way your jeans fit. Has your weight gone up? If your jeans are tight enough, a couple of pounds could make the difference between tight to Too tight. Do you have a picture of you in the jeans "before and after", or just "after".

Pictures of your bare tummy showing are the best way to see if you are getting fat or just going through normal changes. If your stomach muscles are disappearing, or there is an extra bulge on the sides of your waist or on your tummy, the pictures will tell the truth.
Reply:your jeans will look even nicer! are you into s31 type things?

Please Help! What are these itchy, burning, red and white mini rashy bumps that appear and disappear?

I these have weird rashes that come and GO, appear and disappear, in specific places. It's been happening for 2-3 weeks now, off and on. Please help me identify my rashy bumps!

It all started in the fleshy areas of both hands, between the thumb and index finger, the "triangular area". Started by just being there, getting red, itching, then burning. If I pull the skin tight, the "shape" of the inflammation (fluid?) under the skin turns white, and the surrounding skin turns much redder. You know what I mean. The discoloration of a mosquito bite.

They start like big fat mosquito bites, a white circle when skin pulled tight, itchy and red. But then they burn. It doesn't last long, sometimes seconds, sometimes an hour, but it burns and swells, and then subsides and goes away every time (but comes back!!) It spread to my wrists, 2-3 random spots on my back, then on to my toes tonight! Just now my toe swelled almost to pop! It's more active at night and hasn't spread to my girlfriend..

Please Help! What are these itchy, burning, red and white mini rashy bumps that appear and disappear?
you have AIDS.
Reply:do the white bumps come after a lost of scrsting? coz if so ive got the exact same thing...

try having a really really hot shower when you get itchy, and near the end turn the water down to really really cold. this 'wakes up' your skin, and also gets gid of itchyness

Try using moisture isers also. a good one is 'Cetephil'.

I doubt itll spread to your girlfrend but it might spread your body still.

one more thing, are you new to an area? that can affect your skin weirdly so keep that in mind..

Hope it goes
Reply:I would see a dermatologist so they can actually look at them to see what they are.
Reply:You should see a Doctor.

You could have Hives or possibly Syphillis which can cause rashes on the hands and/or feet.

But Hives move around. I had them on my legs when I was a kid. On the front. Giant like mountains and then they moved to my butt and other places. It was awful and they itched and burned and I don't know what caused them. My Mom put vaseline on the area to sufffocate the bugs underneath my skin. You could have something completely different, like an allergic reaction to a food or a cleaning product or something else in your environment.

You should see a doctor for that, though. People here can only speculate. You need a diagnosis from an MD.

Five Basic Nutrition Strategies For Healthy eating:

Eat High-Fiber Low-Glycemic Foods:

Low-glycemic foods are carbohydrates that breakdown slowly, releasing sugar into the bloodstream gradually rather than all at once. These foods almost always contain fiber. The fiber is what is mostly responsible for slowing the absorption of the sugars. These foods can provide long-lasting energy. Most vegetables (especially dark green), most fruits, whole-grains and nuts are high-fiber, low-glycemic. For optimal health, get your grains intact from foods such as whole wheat (whole-grain) bread, brown rice, whole-grain pasta, and other possibly unfamiliar grains like quinoa, whole oats, and bulgur.

Eat More Protein:

Your body requires more energy (calories) to process protein than it does carbohydrates. Eating more protein can increase your metabolism, thereby increasing your bodys ability to burn fat. Protein is necessary for your body to build muscle, and building more muscle increases your ability to burn fat. Good options include eggs, low-fat or no-fat dairy products, lean meat, poultry, seafood and whey protein supplements. Nuts and legumes are also excellent sources of protein; plus you get the added benefit of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Legumes include black beans, red beans, pinto beans, navy beans, garbanzos, and other beans that are usually sold dried.

Eat Frequent Small Meals Throughout The Day:

Eat 6 smaller meals per day, rather than 2-3 larger meals. This will ensure that you will supply your body with the necessary nutrients to build muscle and burn fat while increasing your metabolic rate. It will also supply a constant stream of energy to prevent fatiguing early and prevents the body from kicking into starvation mode. If this happens, your body will burn muscle for energy increasing your body fat stores as well as slowing down your metabolism.

Eat Balanced Meals:

I eat lots of chicken and fish plus an occasional serving of lean red meat. I love my salads and veggies. Beans, brown rice and whole-wheat pasta are my side dishes. I snack on fruits and nuts and even use them to top whole-grain cereals and yogurt. I drink fat free milk everyday which I use also in smoothies. My meals are simple and nutritious. I balance my meals by making sure I’m eating plenty of protein and fiber in each meal.

NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST:

This is the one meal you cannot afford to miss! Jump start your day with a high-fiber, high protein meal containing complex carbohydrates, avoiding simple (sugary) carbohydrates which trigger hunger and sleepiness a few hours later. Choose whole-grain cereals that are loaded with fiber and protein instead of sugar (i.e. Kashi Go Lean .. or Oatmeal). Top with fat-free milk or soy milk and sliced almonds. Sweeten with blueberries or strawberries for a boost in disease fighting antioxidants. Smoothies are great for breakfast too!

I hope this will help

Merry Christmas
Reply:I don't know what the weight loss amount was, but I know that when some one is morbidly obese the skin is stretched beyond it's elasticity and can't go back. Kind of like an over stretched sweater. Surgery is usually preformed to remove extra skin and fat.
Reply:It depends on how long it was stretched and how quickly you lost the weight.

In most cases you need to go in for surgery to remove the extra skin.

Women: I have a lot of excess skin due to pregnancies. Something I can wear to firm/flatten tummy?

I gained 70 pounds rapidly in each of my pregnancies. I'm left with "squishy" type excess skin/stretch marks. It's somewhat saggy, and very noticeable. Even when I wear pants that fit correctly, if they're even slightly fitted in the waste, it looks like I have a huge roll. Is there something that I can wear under my clothes to just kind of firm and flatten my stomach so that it doesn't do this? I need something that won't be obvious if I'm wearing a tighter shirt. Also, summer is coming, and I don't want to wear some kind of suit or something because it'll show and I'll sweat to death. Please help ): I'm only 20 years old and feel like I'm 70.

Women: I have a lot of excess skin due to pregnancies. Something I can wear to firm/flatten tummy?
check out this store in manhattan ny called "town shop". they have a body shaper that has little fabric that loops through to your bra so it doesn't roll down. it goes down to your thighs (and they have panty style cut).

i have the same problem you have and until i can save up for a tummy tuck that's what i wear. it's light weight and it's made of a pantyhose type fabric. it's comfortable to wear in the summer months, also. it doesn't make it completely go away but, it makes your clothes look so much better. this is one garment i can't live without.

try to excercise as much as you can, too. it won't make the flabby/saggy skin go away but, it'll reduce the apperance of it. also, when you buy your clothes try different sizes until you find the one that looks the best on you.

i know the feelings you're going through and how upsetting it is but, this garment will help you look so much better.

good luck, honey.
Reply:Get several pairs of opaque tights. They smooth out the line from the waist to the knee, and ensure there's no chafing if you're rushing around in the warm.Bias cuts skirts should be avoided by all overweight women unless they are in a sturdy fabric. Anything bias-cut in a lightweight or clingy fabric looks genuinely appalling, and has been known to make size 12s that are well over 5 ft 9 look as if they should diet. If I had my way, they'd be illegal. Try out a wrap dress. These are far from the cure-all that some think them, but over trousers they may work for you. There is something called FLEXEES, Firm Control Waistshaper Panty. If you want to learn more about it go to http://www.amazon.com/Flexees-Updated-Co...
Reply:SPANXS!! I think that is how they are spelled. They have a black cami that looks just like a cute black tank top!!!!!!!! SPANXs are on Oprahs top favorite things list!! You can't ever go wrong! they even have spanx for preggo women! here is a website that sells them.

Spanx's also sells a tube top too! they have everything from dress shapers to thigh shapers to bod shapers and then like I said the cami shaper and the tub top shaper!!
Reply:work out
Reply:You can try Relacore its a pill to help with the after effects of having a baby...I used it and it got rid of the baby fat in the stomach area. The only thing is you have to take it 3 times a day, but it does work, along with work outs. Hope this helps you.
Reply:Whatever you do, pills that supposedly 'target' your tummy area are NOT healthy! What you can do is wear a good old-fashioned long-line girdle. They won't show through blouses or trousers. Remember that scene in Steel Magnolias? Truvy WAS raised right!

Another thing that's really healthy and effective, not to mention relaxing and FUN is to go have some Set-N-Me-Free body wraps. They're not fat loss wraps, but they'll detoxify your lymphatic system so you'll lose inches. No, you can't just do your tummy are because the product doesn't work that way.

I used another brand in my spa for years and it doesn't work half as well on my clients as Set-N-Me-Free wraps! Look for a spa in your area that uses that brand of products and treat yourself to a package of wraps. Your skin will shrink over time, I promise!
Reply:You can always wear those body reshaping corset and girdle. However, why don't you also consider some solutions to clear off the stretch marks permanently?

Try Phytolastil Ampoules as it diminish existing stretch marks quickly and naturally.

With 80% concentration of the extracts Alchemilla, Climbing Ivy and Horsetail, Phytolastil Ampoules act intensively to reactivate fibroblast cells and produce protein fibers, which help to repair and smoothen skin.

First results are visible after 25 days.

With continued use, stretch marks fade and become narrower until they are less noticeable. Use one ampoule twice daily on stretch marks for six to eight weeks.

Results are permanent, and you can stop once the stretch marks are treated!

I want to get rid of excess skin...any ideas?

I fell pregnant over 2 years ago and since give birth, I have lost all my excess weight. I am back to the weight I was before I fell pregnant. But now I have a flabby tummy with excess skin. Theres not much there so I dont want surgery or anything. I'd just like to make it a bit tighter so I fell more comfortable with myself. Any ideas?

I want to get rid of excess skin...any ideas?
In addition to toning excercises, (which will help to pull skin tighter over the underlying muscle), you can try some of the collagen skin lotions or creams on the market. I like St. Ives Skin Firming Lotion, which definetly makes an improvement. Unfortunetly however, to completely eliminate a substansial amount of excess skin completely, you would need to have it removed surgically. Hope this helps %26amp; best of luck!
Reply:Muscle you can tighten, but not skin I'm afraid. If it hasn't gone back on it's own you are pretty much stuck with it unless you opt for surgery.

How do I get more cut looking and lose the loose skin?

Ive been goin to the gym for about 4 months now and been doing a mix of weight lifting involving cheast, abs, shoulder, back, biceps, and triceps and cardeo involving runnnig anywhere from 15 to 60 mins. at a consistant rate. The prob;em im having is that the fat in my is burning ackwardly. My cheast and abs the worst...the cheast fat seems to only be around the lower parts and it looks flabby and the ab have a similar issue, my gut just seems to hang at the bottom. i just wanna make it more even and get more of a cut and tighter look. I think since I have been over weight for a while the skin might have streched out and grow to the way my body was, and I want to know if there is any way to reverse it?

How do I get more cut looking and lose the loose skin?
Congrats. Flabby skin is a sign that you are making progress. Good job. Keep up the exercise.

Skin is the body's largest organ and we take it for granted. As you lose weight and stay hydrated, your skin will tighten over your muscles. It's important to stay hydrated, and work out plenty to work the deeper layers of the dermis that connect to your new bulging muscles.

A healthy diet is important for skin, especially high in vitamins E, C, and A. Lots of fruit and dark green vegetables. Swimming seems to help the skin tighten as well. I love the steam room for my skin, but maybe that's just me. Keep working at it, picture your new self in your head, and work for that.
Reply:try palaties
Reply:the only way to get rid of loose skin is to have it surgically removed.
Reply:depends on your age. you lose collagen over time (elasticity). moisturize and build muscle to fill in some of the lose skin, that might help. other than that surgery. but it will leave a scar. make sure you're not losing too much weight either. also, consider this. better to have a few extra pounds, than to get lose like star jones. sorry, had to say that. honestly her face looks like it's sliding of her skull.

Belly ring pierced with too little skin :((?

hey i had my belly button pierced...this is the second time. I feel like they didnt grab enough skin when they pierced it and i feel like i cant wear heavy rings or it will rip out...am i just being paranoid or so i really be concerned? It really looks like its too little skin and the ring pulls it down even more. Is there anything that will somewhat close the hole b/c i think that will help it have a tighter hold on the ring...thank you!!!

Belly ring pierced with too little skin :((?
i have my belly pierced too, what you should do is not wear any heavy belly rings for now so the hole can get smaller %26amp; tighter. If you got it professionally done then they should know what they're doing, but if you're seriously concerned, go back and show them and ask if they could possibly repierce it for free after you let it close again. Say that it feels like it's going to rip off and you're worried. Don't take it out until you talk to them though , if they deny to do it again for you, just don;t wear anything heavy until the hole gets smaller. Mines is fine but my friends is somewhat how you're describing yours and she's wearing something lighter for the mean time and it is getting smaller.
Reply:um you should got o a nother piercing shop and have tem look at it and see what they say
Reply:iF YOUR REALLY CONCERNED GO TO A DIFFERENT PIECER AND ASK THEIR OPINION THEY WILL TELL YOU IF IT WAS DONE RIGHT IF NOT YOU MAY HAVE TO LET IT CLOSE AND REDO IT
Reply:go to where you got it pierced, and tell them that it is not done right that its hurting you and you cant wear any rings , tell them to give you your money back and go somewhere else and get it done

What exactly should I do about my skin and hair?

I have issues with my skin and hair, and I don't know how to take care of them.

First, I have oily skin, and I am not sure what steps I should take as a man to take care of it. I need some sort of skincare regimen, and to know what else can I do to care for my skin.

Second, I have stretch marks, which came from when I was overweight. Even though I have lost the weight, I have not lost the stretch marks. I have tried cocoa butter for quite some time, but it doesn't seem to be working. Does that work for anybody? What does work?

Third, I have thin, soft hair with an extremely strong curl. It seems like I can't do anything with it. Styling products just make the curl tighter, and the soft and thin texture make it almost impossible to braid or dread. I would just let it grow, but my hair gets to a certain length, and seems like it just stop growing. The curls aren't bad, but it's time for a change. I would really like dreads, but not sure I can get them. Suggestions?

What exactly should I do about my skin and hair?
well my aunt work in the hair section or wateva and all u do is shampoo and condition once a day and use healthy body soap and use lotion. and dont touch ur face alot ull get acne
Reply:First problem: use facial cleanser for oily skin. If you use neutrogina or any of those products aimed toward teens they will most likely help. Also you should try non-powdered blot papers. They work soo well!!

Sorry i donno what to do for the second one... i'm too young to know... lol

and the third problem, i say you should just keep it short. There are a lot of dudes at my school who sound like they have the same hair. They just keep it short and it looks REALLY good.

good luck
Reply:well first, cocoa butter prevents stretch marks, it doesn't take them away. i don't think you can get rid of stretch marks. i also have oily skin and i use clean and clear continuous control acne cleanser with benzoyl peroxide. it helps alot because bezoyl peroxide dries out your skin a little. and i use witch hazel afterward and throughout the day when i start getting oily again. i don't know about the hair though. good luck!
Reply:Skincare is not exactly gender-specific. You can use OTC products specialized for oily skin such as Neutrogena or Olay. Most have websites that help you research what is right for your skin. If you feel that it is out of control, you can contact a dermatologist.

Vitamin E works wonders for stretch marks. It does not take it all away, but should reduce them.

Dreads look and work best on people of African descent or even if mixed, have dominant black genes. Yes, there are people of other races that can grow dreads but it never looks as good. It always looks all over the place, while black people can roll their natural hair to dread it nicely. I suggest you go to a reputable salon and get an opinion on what to do to help manage your hair.

Good luck!
Reply:well for oily skin, you better clean your skin at least twice a day. Good thing for oily skin you will have longer time to get wrinkle than dry skin. However though as a man, I think ain't problem to take moisturizer on your skin ... pick for oil skin.

Strecth? ahhh anyone can help this?

Hair ... I will always count on conditioner
Reply:change your diet, no pork or beef. exercise early in morning and start runing. your skin and hair will start to revive agian.
Reply:i honestly don't know how to answer your question, but i do know one thing:

YOUR AVATAR IS UGLY!!!!!!!!!!! YOU LOOK LIKE AN OLD SHRIVELED PERSON SITTING ON A TUB.
Reply:Anthony cleanser and toner on the oily skin. Shea butter on the stretch marks. I suggest you check out some salons in your area that specialize in dreads and twist, go see some stylist in action and get their advice on the hair, one thing is...just be glad you still got it.
Reply:im assuming that if you have oily skin, you may also have acne? if not, your so very lucky. oily skin is better because you wont wrinkle up as soon. you can try an oil control lotion. oily skin needs moisture. we tend to use very drying products on our skin to eliminate the oil, which is counter-productive. it just produces more oil. wash first thing in the morning and at night. nuetragena makes a great line of products. since your a guy, i wont have to go into make up. drinks alot of water too. i can stress to people on how important water is for your skin. stretch marks show up worse if your skin is darker. i had children and was blessed not to get them. my boyfriend had lost about 100 lbs and had them. you can try this stuff pregnant women use. im not sure of the name, but i thinks you can find it in the baby items section in the market, or walmart. maderma is another brand. lastly, your hair-your so lucky to have curly hair. i have bone straight hair and cant curl it at all. but im sure you can straighten it with an iron. dreads are gross and smell. i think girls would be grossed out by them.
Reply:For the skin, I would use a facial cleanser. You might have to try dif ones until you find one that actually works for you. Try each one for atleast a week or two.

For the stretch marks I heard that taking a bath in baby oil minimizes the marks. I haven't tried it because I don't have them.

I don't think the dreads would look right with the thin hair problem. I would just keep it cut short and use some styling gel to spike it. I'm a sucker for a guy who takes time to do his hair.
Reply:if you never try anything on your face, just experiment which is the best product that help your oily skin, it will cost a bit of money ans sometimes will have some effect on your skin to break outs.

peanuts sometimes cause of our place to make it oily, so try to avoid it.

about the stretch mark, use the strivectin -sd,I've been trying a lot of creams but doesnt do anything at all, strivectin helps the stretch mark bit smaller and lighter.

good luck
Reply:For your skin i suggest washing it at night with very warm water and an exfoliating face wash, wipe it with a clean towel and wash again but with cold water this time. the warm water will open your pores and the cold water will close them so that no dirt, oil or other stuff get in your pores.

have you consider a relaxer?
